We as non-profit organizations have faced an increasing number of challenges in these tough economic times.  The climate has tested our ability to be resourceful, work together as a community, and ultimately has reinforced our commitment to “build vibrant communities through Asian and Pacific Islander American (APIA) arts and culture programs that foster intergenerational and cross-cultural dialogue, cultural identity, collaborations, and social justice.” With our commitment stronger than ever we would like to take the time to thank those who have been champions for the OACC as well as the entire arts and culture family.
 
What a better way to celebrate Asian American Heritage Month than by rallying supporters and mobilizing our social and political momentum for the future.

Please join us in paying tribute to those individuals and organizations who have led the way in impacting the lives of so many in the Asian Pacific Islander American Community.

The event will take place at the OACC, 388 9^th Street, Suite 290 (between Webster and Franklin Streets) on Thursday, May 31^st at 6:00 p.m.

Dinner, coffee, tea, and water is included. There will also be a cash bar at the event. If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please contact OACC Development Manager Jennifer Chu via phone or email at (510) 637 - 0464, jchu@oacc.cc no later than Thursday, May 24, 2012. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. 

Please note that physical tickets will not be issued. In lieu of physical tickets, the name(s) / organization(s) of pre-sale, pledged, and/or confirmed ticket holders, sponsors (table and event) will be added to the will call list. Ticket(s) will be held under the name of the ticket buyer(s), and/or table and event sponsors. 

You will need to check in at the will call table in OACC's lobby that evening to claim your seat. If tickets and/or table sponsorships are not sold out by Thursday, May 29th, additional event tickets and/or table sponsorships will be available for purchase at the door.
